Blending high octane funky madness and psychedelic portal bending sounds,High Beamz is sure to get your butt off the dance floor and your brain into outer space. You will hear originals that are featured off their albums and a few choice cover sing a longs. Legendary musicians will be on hand to make this evening's portal blast off a memorable one. Fraction Distraction - Hailing from San Jose - and more specifically The Art Boutiki Music Hall (it includes two of our production crew!) Fraction Distraction is an all-original South Bay trio, "A jam band for people who don't like jam bands." Psych Rock to Funk, Prog to Grunge-y metal, all things above and below. Quarter notes! Eighth notes! Sixteenth Notes! All the fractions you need! Picture, if you will, numbers and lines dancing on a page, and opening your ears, you hear music—the distraction from all of life's woes.
