Whether you’re aiming to pass the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test or simply want your dog to behave better in public, this workshop is your next step.

The Canine Good Citizen Workshop focuses on advanced manners, confidence, and reliability in distracting environments. You’ll get hands-on coaching in the areas that most pet parents struggle with: polite greetings, loose leash walking around people and dogs, staying calm through distractions, and more.

You’ll practice:

• Walking calmly through a crowd
• Accepting petting from a friendly stranger
• Reacting politely to distractions (noises, other dogs, etc.)
• Coming when called
• Sitting and staying under control in public

When you register, you’ll be able to choose whether you’re attending for practice only or if you’d like your dog to take the official CGC test. This makes it possible for participants to test when they’re ready, without waiting on others.

Whether your dog is nearly test-ready or still working toward that goal, this workshop will give you clear feedback, targeted practice strategies, and a better understanding of your dog’s progress.
