The raven shrieks. The Castle Door creaks. A ghostly figure appears on the moors, lighted by a single candle. Beware! These are lurking in wait at the Gothic Horror Intensive, the weekend after Halloween at BATS Improv. A genre built on the dread of decay and mysterious forces from the past (specters, curses, and family secrets) – the class will reference classic Gothic texts (Edgar Allen Poe, The Bronte Sisters) and Gothic Horror Films (Frankenstein, The Innocents, Night of the Demon) and maybe a Scooby Doo episode, or two. Mad scientists, sinister housekeepers and Brad and Janet, are a few of the characters we will transform into. F4 or equivalent required. Come ready to scare and be scared!

BATS Improv Class Refund Policy

• If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
• If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class, or any time after your first class session, your tuition will be forfeit.

In the event that we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
