Now in its 23rd year, Haunted Fort returns to Fort Abraham Lincoln—North Dakota’s most famously haunted destination.

With real ghost stories dating back to the 1989 reconstruction of the Custer House, the line between history and horror continues to blur.

From mysterious voices to sightings of a woman in black, supernatural experiences at Fort Abraham Lincoln have spanned decades.

What began with ghostly encounters evolved into a full-blown Halloween event in 2002—now one of the most terrifying in the region.

Haunted Fort has grown into Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park’s largest event, now spanning three weekends each October and drawing over 9,000 thrill-seekers, with added experiences like the Kids Bash and Spookless Night.
