Are you an actor or improviser looking to add a polished, versatile British accent to your toolkit? Join us at BATS Improv for a dynamic British Dialect class focused exclusively on the Standard British accent-often called “Received Pronunciation” (RP)-the classic, widely recognized accent used in theatre, film, and television.
This class is perfect for beginners and experienced performers alike. No previous dialect or voice training is required! You’ll learn the foundational sounds, intonation, and rhythm that define Standard British English, helping you speak clearly and confidently with this elegant and professional accent.
Through engaging exercises and guided practice you’ll develop the skills to adopt the Standard British accent naturally and fluidly. We’ll cover key pronunciation features such as vowel shifts, consonant articulation, and the musicality of RP speech, empowering you to bring a wide range of characters to life with authenticity.
Whether you want to prepare for auditions, expand your acting range, or simply enjoy the challenge of mastering a new voice, this class offers a supportive and fun environment to grow your skills.

BATS Improv Class Refund Policy
- If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
- If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class, or any time after your first class session, your tuition will be forfeit.
In the event that we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.

Cancellation Policy:
An event can only be canceled by the venue and/or event organizer. If the venue or event organizer cancels an event, you will be refunded within 4 business days of the event date for your purchase.
