Class Time/Dates: 6:00pm-10:00pm on Friday, 10:00am-5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday // August 15-17
Schedule: 3 sessions
Class size: 12 students maximum
Prerequisite: F4 or equivalent experience required.

We’ll explore the vast expanse of possibilities we face when we do Open Scenework. This means short
scenes (no games!) from simple suggestions (or no suggestions!). Success in Open Scenework requires us to use all our improv skills! It is both endlessly satisfying and endlessly challenging!
Here are some things we’ll work on:
- Scene Starts - the “big bang”, starting scenes with energy, commitment and teamwork
- Scene Endings - tools to more consistently find good endings
- Variety - we’ll expand our understanding and our tools, with the goal of being able to put on stage any situation/moment we can imagine
- Ensemble - let’s work together to create less conflict and more detail!
- Wheres & Action - we’ll develop more skills to BE places, DO things, and MOVE within and between locations
- Advanced Yessing - you probably think you know how to say Yes. Let’s think again.
- Details - we’ll explore the Who/What/When/Why/Where of scenes. The variety is
endless!

BATS Improv Class Refund Policy
- If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
- If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class, or any time after your first class session, your tuition will be forfeit.
In the event that we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.

Cancellation Policy:
An event can only be canceled by the venue and/or event organizer. If the venue or event organizer cancels an event, you will be refunded within 4 business days of the event date for your purchase.
