Class Time/Dates: 10:00am - 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday // October 18 and 19

Class size: 12 students maximum

Prerequisite: F4 or equivalent experience required.

How does the concept of “time” factor into our scenes and stories? What’s the time of day, of the year? The era? How long have the characters known each other? How old are they? What are we in the middle of? Knowing what timeline we’re in helps us be more specific and truthful in our improv. The overall question we’ll look at in this workshop is “How long has THIS been true”? This skill makes everything we do in improv come into sharper focus, and makes scenes and stories both easier and more full of detail and fun!

We’ll also play around with “time jumps”, both forward and backward!

BATS Improv Class Refund Policy

• If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
• If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class, or any time after your first class session, your tuition will be forfeit.

In the event that we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
