The haunted house-themed Nukeville from the 1950s is a chilling and eerie setting, blending Cold War paranoia with supernatural horror. Picture a deserted, perfectly preserved suburban neighborhood designed to mimic the ideal American town, once used for nuclear testing. The streets are lined with cookie-cutter homes, white picket fences, an old town movie theater bringing old and new monsters back from the dead, and mannequins frozen in time, resembling typical 1950s families. However, the town’s eerie silence is broken by strange occurrences: ghostly figures appearing in windows, flickering streetlights, and whispers in the air.

The nuclear explosion that was meant to destroy the town left behind the restless spirits of the mannequins, haunted by the fear and anxiety of the era. Shadows move on their own, radios crackle with messages from the past, and abandoned fallout shelters hide terrifying secrets. This haunting is intertwined with the trauma of the nuclear age, where the fear of total annihilation lingers in every corner. The town embodies both the horrors of nuclear fallout and the supernatural, creating an unsettling experience that merges real historical fear with ghostly terror.

Haunted House Release of Liability and Water Acknowledgement

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING YOUR TICKET

By purchasing a ticket and/or participating in the Nukeville Nightmares, you agree to the following terms and conditions. This is a legally binding release of liability, waiver, and acknowledgment of risks. If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase a ticket or enter the Attraction.

1. Acknowledgement of Risks

I understand that participation in the Attraction involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, intense scare tactics, strobe lighting, fog, confined spaces, loud noises, sudden movements, actors hiding/ scaring guests, and special effects.

I also acknowledge that the Attraction may feature areas with water-based effects such as:

• Fog machines or misting systems

• Wet or slippery floors

• Water features 

I understand that water may cause certain surfaces to become slick, increasing the risk of falls, slips, or other accidents.

No Touching Actors or Props

• Guests are not allowed to touch any of the actors or the set pieces. Likewise, the actors will not touch the guests.

No Running or Pushing

• For safety, walking is required at all times. Running, pushing, or any aggressive behavior is prohibited.

No Flashlights, Phones, or Cameras

• To preserve the experience and ensure safety, flashlights, phones, and cameras are typically not allowed inside the haunted house.

No Smoking, Alcohol, or Drugs

• Smoking, consuming alcohol, or using drugs is strictly forbidden within the haunted house.

Age Restrictions

• Many haunted houses have minimum age requirements or recommend that children under a certain age be accompanied by an adult.  The Condemned Compound LLC has no age requirement, however, it is highly recommended children under the age of 12 be accompanied by an adult.

No Costumes or Masks

• Guests are not allowed to wear costumes or masks to prevent confusion with actors and ensure a safe experience.

No Weapons or Dangerous Items

• Bringing weapons, real or fake, or any dangerous items into the haunted house is strictly prohibited.

Follow Staff Instructions

• Guests must follow the instructions of staff and security at all times.

Stay on the Designated Path

• Guests must remain on the marked paths and not wander off into restricted areas.

No Refunds

• The Condemned Compound LLC has a no-refund policy, even if guests leave early due to fear or discomfort.

Respect Other Guests

• Be mindful of other guests. Harassing or interfering with other attendees is not tolerated.

Medical Conditions

• Guests with medical conditions such as heart problems, epilepsy, or severe claustrophobia should not enter the haunted house.

Exit If Needed

• Emergency exits are available if a guest feels overwhelmed or needs to leave the attraction early.

These rules help ensure the haunted house remains a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone involved, including both guests and staff.

Waiver of Liability

I, the undersigned participant, hereby release, waive, and discharge The Condemned Compound LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising from or relating to my participation in the Attraction, including but not limited to injuries, accidents, or other incidents related to the use of water or water-based effects.

This waiver includes, but is not limited to, liability arising from:

• Slips, trips, or falls on wet surfaces

• Exposure to water or moisture that may cause harm or discomfort

• Water-based interactions that may affect clothing, personal items, or cause injury

Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Attraction, including those related to water elements and the possibility of encountering slippery surfaces, getting wet, or other hazards. I acknowledge that I am fully aware of the nature of the Attraction and the potential risks involved.

Medical Conditions

I confirm that I do not have any medical conditions that would be negatively affected by participation in the Attraction, including but not limited to conditions that could be aggravated by water exposure, wet surfaces, or sudden scares.

Agreement to Terms

By purchasing a ticket, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this release of liability and waiver. I agree to follow all posted rules and warnings within the Attraction, and I understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without a refund.

This document ensures participants are fully informed of the risks involved, particularly concerning water, and serves as legal protection for the haunted house organizers.
