Express your unique communication gifts. In these two movement lessons, based on the Feldenkrais® method, become more aware of how you listen, sing, speak—and of course, breathe. These slow, gentle movement variations help you to listen and speak from your whole self, using all your senses and your entire body to support your voice and your Improv characters' choices. 

In this movement-based version of self-inquiry, you'll develop greater vocal clarity, power and resonance. Become more refined about how you use your breath, tongue and coordination of diaphragms.

Through her Body Wisdom classes, Carie helps you discover your innate capacity for comfortable, efficient movement and self-expression. Whether in mediation, meditation or movement classes, she supports your discovery of how you inhabit your body—and from there, how you connect with others.. Your body wants to tell you how you could move, speak and sing with greater ease—Carie helps you listen. A core principle of her work—both as a mediator and as a Feldenkrais® practitioner—is that she’s not going to tell you the answer to a conflict or the right way for you to breathe. Instead, she’ll support you in finding the organization that works for you. And for performers? What fun it is to find the somewhat different organization that expresses your character!

BATS Improv Class Refund Policy

• If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
• If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class, or any time after your first class session, your tuition will be forfeit.

In the event that we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
