Horror and rock music have a strong connection rooted in a shared appreciation for darkness, rebellion. Haunted Houses have used rock music to generate excitement in advertising, queue lines and more and rock bands have used horror to create music videos, album art and stage shows. Awaken wanted to bring these together in a different way with a meet and greet. We are kicking it off with founding members of Skid Row bassist and main songwriter Rachel Bolan and Guitarist Dave "Snake" Sabo Oct. 3rd and 4th at Awaken Haunted Attraction. They will sign autographs, take photos and also have merchandise.

Rachel and Snake have personal interest in and have appeared at horror conventions, such as New Jersey Horror Con and Days of the Dead. The musicians have mentioned ideas for writing horror film scripts and enjoy interacting with fans at these events, seeing them as another avenue for fan engagement, according to an Instagram post.

There are ticket options for Haunted House which includes the meet and greet or a  meet and greet only. If you have already purchased a haunt ticket, you automatically get in to meet Rachel and Snake and do not need to purchase a meet and greet ticket.

Meet and Greet tickets are good for entering the venue, having access to Awakens lobby and to meet Skid Row Rachel Bolan and Snake Sabo. Haunt tickets cover the same, but also give you access to Mid Michigan's number one haunted attraction. This ticket does not cover costs of autographs, photos or merchandise of Skid Row, they will have their own set prices. Doors open at 7:30pm Friday and Saturday.
