17TH ANNUAL DENISE EDWARDS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNAMENT 

Denise Edwards made a lasting impact on soccer in Virginia and across the country through 36 years of leadership at the local, state, regional, and national levels. Inducted into the Virginia-DC Soccer Hall of Fame in 2014, she also served as Executive Director of Virginia Rush and Administrator for the Virginia Soccer League. Denise was passionate about making soccer accessible to every child and believed no player should miss the opportunity to play because of financial hardship.

Through the annual golf tournament and scholarship efforts, more than 600 youth players have had the opportunity to experience travel soccer regardless of their financial situation. Denise’s leadership, generosity, and love for the game will continue to inspire generations to come.
